Characteristics of Vickers PVQ Plunger Pump:

Vickers PVQ10 Plunger Pump Pressure Compensator:

This pressure compensator automatically adjusts the output flow rate of the pump to maintain the system's flow rate at a pre-selected working pressure. The pump output is maintained at a high flow rate that is approximately 3.4 bar (50 psi) lower than the pressure setting value before starting to decrease. The pressure compensator operates on one side of the center and has an adjustment range indicated in the model code.

The adjustable large block pressure control allows for external adjustment of the pump's high flow rate from 25% to 100%, while maintaining all standard features of the pressure compensation pump. To assist with initial infusion, the manually adjusted control setting must be at least 40% of the high flow position.

Vickers PVQ10 Plunger Pump Remote Control Pressure Compensator:

Same as "C" (pressure compensation option), but allows the machine operator to use remote pilot relief valves such as Eaton's C-175 to change the compensator setting.

Electrical dual range pressure compensator:

This dual range pressure compensator controls the automatic adjustment of the pump's output flow rate to maintain the system's flow rate at one of the two pre-selected working pressures.

The pump output is maintained at a high flow rate of approximately 3.4 bar (50 psi) below one of the pressure control settings before starting to decrease.

The control method and pressure range are indicated in the model code.

Vickers PVQ10 Plunger Pump Load Sensing and Pressure Limiting Compensator:

This compensator provides load sensing control under all pressure conditions up to the desired high value. It responds to a remote pressure signal, automatically adjusting the pump flow rate and maintaining the outlet pressure slightly higher than the load pressure. When the pre-set high working pressure is reached, the built-in pressure limiter replaces the load sensing control, reducing the pump displacement. The standard load sensing pressure difference settings for different control methods are as follows. The setting range can be found in the model code.

Standard load sensing and pressure limiting control have a pressure difference of 11 bar (standard factory set value), including discharge orifices for low pressure

Release the load sensing signal under standby conditions. Same as above, but the discharge orifice is blocked. Same as C * * V11B above, but with a factory differential pressure setting of 24 bar.

Same as C * * V11P mentioned above, but with a factory differential pressure setting of 24 bar.
